Introduction to The NIHR Research Design Service for the East of England (NIHR RDS-EoE)

The NIHR RDS-EoE aims to work with health and social care professionals and service users who want to obtain funding for research to improve health and social care.  We provide consultative advice and also help to build collaborative research teams in order to develop proposals focusing predominantly NIHR funding streams.

Between April 2010 and March 2011, the NIHR RDS-EoE supported over 300 projects, over half of which were submitted as full or outline applications to funding steams.  Of the full bids submitted, 35% were successful.
